Abstract: (ENG) The present article refers to the minoritiy issue on a double registre deploiment. On one hand, there is the historical evolution of facts in the World War II Bucharest and immediately after the it ended. A diplomat, representative of the Yugoslav Government in London, unfortunately happens to be right in the middle of the dispute of political vanities between Tito`s communist power and the declining Yugoslav Monarchic authorities. Both the Comunists in Belgrade and those in Bucharest decide that Petar Pantovici is a disturbing person to the new political trend and therefore, he
plain and simple vanishes. At the same time, facts from the troubled and sad life of the kidnapped diplomat`s family are presented: the mother and two small children refuge to Budapest, then Viena and finally to Buenos Aires.
