Abstract(EN): Family names formed with the suffixes -uk/-juk/-cuk and -ak/-jak/-cak in the anthroponomy of Maramures
The focus of the present paper is on family names - within the anthroponomical system of some places in Maramures (Rona de Sus, Craciunesti and Lunca la Tisa) - that contain the poly-functional suffixes -uk/-juk/-cuk and -ak/-jak/-cak. We have first described the history (the origin) and the poly-functionality of the above mentioned Ukrainian suffixes (these suffixes can build up diminutives, patronyms, andronyms and can even show the origin of the person named). Then we have focused on the frequency of family names built up with these suffixes within the anthroponomical systems that have been mentioned above. At the same time, the family names that constitute the focus of this paper are classified according to the origin of the names and appellatives that are the basis of these family names (for example, family names derived from calendar names-derivatives, compounds or variants of them; family names derived from names, appellations or Slavonic old nicknames that have different appellatives at their foundation).
