Abstract: Problem statement:
Roma's employability situation in Spain is characterized by a high rate of non formal activity. Most Roma, 75%, are in the 16-60 age gap, which means a high possibility of accessing the ordinary labour market. But reality shows that Roma are the most affected group by the Spanish financial crisis being their unemployment rates much higher than the avarage Spanish citizen. Almost 40% of Roma are unemployed nowadays, while 25% of Spanish citizens are currently unemployed.
