Abstract: (En) Govrin, an Israeli diplomat between 1955 and 1970 and subsequently a distinguished Israeli ambassador to numerous foreign countries including Romania (1985 to 1989), explores Israel's foreign policy and relations with Romania in the ending years of President Nicolae Ceauscescu's communist era.
