Abstract: (En) The article refers to Avram Leib Zissu (1888-1956), a once important figure of the Romanian Zionist movement who has largely been forgotten. However, he should be remembered not only as a Zionist theoretician but also due to his courage and determination in organizing rescue and resistance actions, both under Antonescu‟s dictatorship and under the ensuing communist regime.
