Launching conference of the project: "Socio-graphic mapping of the Roma Communities in Romania for a community-level monitoring of changes with regard to Roma integration (SocioRoMap)"

The Romanian Institute for Research on National Minorities from Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with the Foundation for an open society and the Research Centre on Interethnic Relations announces the launching conference of the project: "Socio-graphic mapping of the Roma Communities in Romania for a community-level monitoring of changes with regard to Roma integration (SocioRoMap)", which will take place on February 17th, 2015, 9.30 a.m. in Bucharest, Hotel Capital Plaza, Mihail Kogălniceanu room (54 Iancu de Hunedoara Bld.).


This project is supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, in the framework of the "Poverty Alleviation" Programme (RO25), it has a duration of 24 months and the maximum value of the grant is 1.000.000 Euros.


The aim of this launching event is to present our research methodology and the expected results, to make use of the contributions of interested actors (organisations, institutions and embassies) and to encourage collaboration and partnership in the field of activity specific to this project.
